What Does An Obama Presidency Mean to the World of Natural Health?

Uncategorized No Comments »

It means we finally have a chance to make a difference! But we can’t just sit back and relax. We need to take action now to educate the democrats on natural health issues.

Obama’s Health Care Plan does address the notion of prevention which is extremely important in our work. However, what this can mean is more tests, more drugs, more expenses. OR we can educate Obama supporters about natural methods and begin to cure 90% of diseases naturally.

It is up to us. If we educate, they will listen. Pick a topic that you are passionate about and write to Congress today.

Some important issues are:

-We must ban MSG and other unnatural poisons being put in our food supply.

-We must stop that mass overmedication of our children with pharmaceutical drugs.

-We must launch a national health insurance program that treats all citizens regardless of income, employment and pre-existing conditions.

-We must eliminate the thimerosal in vaccines which causes autism and create a country wide law allowing parents to object to vaccinations without penalty.

-We must end the American Medical Association’s Monopoly on healthcare and health insurance and allow holistic practitioners to be covered and become mainstream.

-We must eliminate false, misleading advertising of the food and drug industries.

-We must fight to end the corruption of the FDA and the USDA who are merely making profits off their immoral and illegal decisions

-We must educate the public on natural cures for cancer, obesity, and any and all chronic conditions.

2. Green Cleaning:
Your typical household cleaners and bug-killers could be hosting over 200 industrial compounds, pollutants and other chemicals. These harmful chemicals are dangerous for your health, the health of your children and pets and the environment as a whole. Chemicals in cleaning products have been implicated in Parkinson’s disease, infertility, brain damage, and cancer.

Make sure to only buy organic, all-natural cleaning products. Natural cleaning products are becoming more available in most grocery stores.

3. Green Your Shopping:
Typical plastic shopping bags you get at the store are made from petroleum-based plastic which is not biodegradable. Every year Americans use up to 100 billion plastic bags which leads to 12 million barrels of oil!

Thousands of animals chike to death on plastic bags they mistake as food.

Bring reusable canvas shopping bags with you every time you shop and save an animals life!

4. Green Your Garden:
Don’t use synthetic fertilizers or chemical pesticides. Americans use 80 million pounds of pesticides per year in their gardens. These toxic chemicals pose threats to your environment and the health and safety of your family and pets.

Instead use compost and native plants in your garden. Native plants are adapted to the environment and require less water and less attention.

5. Buy Local:
American Produce travels a minimum of 1,500 miles to make it into your grocery store. This wastes a tremendous amount of fossil fuels that release unhealthy carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and other harmful pollutants into the air.

When you buy local, you support local farmers and thus support your environment.

Buying local benefits your health, your local economy, your local farmers and the environment!
